THE ORIENTATIONAL METAPHOR „OBEN-UNTEN“ IN GERMAN SEMANTIC SPACE

Abstract:  The cognitive fetures of “up-down” metaphor in the German language are considered in the article. The metaphorical models and the cognitive bases of the “up-down topological zones” names used to describe the phenomenon of non-physical space are determined.
