GRADATIONAL NATURE OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITHIN THE «INTELLECT» LEXICAL FIELD IN MODERN ENGLISH

Abstract: 
The article focuses on phraseological means of gradation in modern English language. The research based on the phraseological constituents within the lexical field of «intellect» reveals gradational nature of the units as well as some etalons which happen to be the basis for gradation itself.
