Abstract
This article discusses the concept BLUE of the color picture of the world of Emily Dickinson and the ways of its lexical representation. There are outlined the key words of lexical representation: blue, sea. The analysis of the author's individual treating the meanings of the notions «deception» and «hope» is also conducted.
