Abstract:
In the article the research directions studying interrelation of language and culture, and also approaches to interpretation of a concept are considered. These approaches can be reduced to two cores: linguistics – cultural and cognitive. Features of national specificity, as well as the cultural-valuable component of a linguocultural concept distinguish it from cognitive linguistics.
