Abstract:
Syntactic representation is considered as a way of representing world knowledge and language knowledge in syntax. All factors that govern this process are analysed. The special focus is made on how they reflect interpretative aspects of human cognition and explain the possibility of alternative ways of construing the current situation with its further representation in syntax.
