ENGLISH GRAMMAR AND ANTHROPOCENTRISM

Abstract:  The article examines the main trends in the development of English descriptive and functional grammars. Attention is drawn to the changes in their structure and in the methods of studies of linguistic material under the influence of the ideas of an-thropocentrism characteristic of the modern science of language.
