INTERPRETATION MODELS OF TEXTUAL REFERENCE

Abstract:  The study of direct and indirect textual names allows detecting the possibilities of maintaining their referential status in text, the variety of which occurs primarily due to anthropological nature of individual interpretation. The degree of its definiteness depends on the type of semantic focus of conceptual referent: identifying, char-acterizing or classifying. Textual reference results from different interpretation models of these foci: unimodal (in case a reader develops a stable interpretation of an inside or outside observer or a textual event participant) and multimodal (when a reader develops several interpretations simultaneously).
