RECONSTRUCTING THEMATIC CONTENT OF THE NEWS STORY TEXT VIA SEMANTIC CATEGORIZATION

Abstract:  The study focuses on categorial-and-semantic reconstruction of cognitive map of the news story text that opens ways for distinguishing integration features in thematic representation of social reality in media discourse. Media representation of the event is indirectly reflected in the nominative density as verbalization of processional character of the event, its details or evaluation, thus determining domination of factual or interpretative constituents in the text content.
