LINGUO-COGNITIVE ANALYSIS OF ABBREVIATION UNITS

Abstract:  This article demonstrates a proprietary technique of the linguo-cognitive analysis of abbreviation units. Etymological analysis, dictionary definitions analysis, contextual analysis, analysis of synonymic rows and antonymic pairs of abbreviation units representing the concept and analysis of meaning representation in individual original abbreviation units are considered as components of the complex analysis.
