METAPHOR AND ENJAMBEMENT: QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract:  The article studies the relations between concepts, reflected in the metaphorical models in verse and enjambment structures, breaking syntactic links of the elements. Correlation analysis reveals a number of implicit rules, demonstrating systematic tendencies in choosing means of foregrounding for various elements of conceptual sphere.
