CONCEPTUAL COMPARISON AS A COGNITIVE MECHANISM OF THE FORMATION OF THE ENGLISH LANDSCAPE LEXIS EVALUATIVE SENSES

Abstract:  This article deals with the formation of the English landscape lexis evaluative senses on the basis of the mechanism of conceptual comparison. Evaluative senses expressed by the English landscape lexis are analyzed, the peculiarities of the work of the mechanism of conceptual comparison in the process of these senses formation are identified.
