ON THE ISSUE OF CONCEPTUAL BASES OF THE PHENOMENON OF ZEUGMA

Abstract: 
This article attempts to consider zeugmatic constructions (utterances) from the point of view of some conceptual bases that determine the nature of zeugma. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of representation of frame content in these structures. By this criterion four types of utterances that demonstrate the phenomenon of zeugma are distinguished.
