COMPRESSION AS BASIC COGNITIVE MECHANISM OF COMMUNICATION IN TWITTER

Abstract: 
This work deals with mechanisms of compression in Twitter. It examines main functions of hash tags as an instrument of compression and focuses on the function of situation modeling as the most actual one for this discourse practice. The strategy of situation modeling is demonstrated on the example of modern Russian blogs.
