Abstract: 
The article is devoted to the analysis of the frame as one of the main cognitive models used in the process of description of terminology systems. The structure of the cognitive-frame model verbalized by means of the English nanotechnology terminology is described in the article. The author comes to the conclusion that the nanotechnology knowledge is significantly structured that is reflected in the corresponding frame structure, giving the possibility to show the general picture of nanotechnology science.
