THE COGNITIVE ASPECT OF STUDYING DEMOTIVATOR AS A MULTIMODAL TEXT

Abstract: 
The article is devoted to the analysis of demotivator as a multimodal text which synthesizes verbal and visual components and is characterized by comic sense. As a cognitive process defining the creation and understanding of demotivator, interpretation which is carried out with the help of discursive mechanism perspectivization and conceptual integration is considered. Such means of creating the comic sense of demotivator, as a frame and a pun are described.
