Abstract:
The study of cognitive aspects of the language goes beyond the formalized approaches, shaping new scientific interests. The author believes that in the course of language development some forms of regularly extrapolated cognitive systems developed. Somatisms and their derivatives represent one of such systems. Word-formation means can be considered as cognitive archetypes of some regular word formations, that are used in everyday practical situations.
