CONCEPTUAL INTEGRATION OF METAPHOR AND SYMBOL AS TWO TYPES OF SEMANTIC DERIVATION (based on the concept ‘OGON’ FIRE)

Abstract: 
The research deals with integrative cognitive processes involving metaphor and symbol into conceptualization of our knowledge of the world in the language representation. The hierarchy of direct, denotative meanings shifted into metaphorical derivatives to portray the emotional and abstract notions and also involved into imagery and symbolism at the highest level of abstraction is traced.
