COGNITIVE APPROACH TO THE STUDY OF REPETITION AS A STYLISTIC PHENOMENON

Abstract: 
The article concentrates on the topical issues of studying repetition in the light of cognitive stylistic approach. The primary emphasis rests upon the complex linguistic nature of repetition, its consideration as a cognitively relevant stylistic phenomenon and as a special type of foregrounding.
