MODELING AND CONCEPTUALIZATION IN TERMINOLOGY: COGNITIVE MAP VS. ONTOLOGY

Abstract: 
The paper considers the potential of applying cognitive science methods in terminology science. Resource and applicability of content-analysis are described. Characteristics of term system modeling are under investigation, applicability of using thesaur, ontology and cognitive map is evaluated.
