CONCEPTUAL CONTENT REPRESENTED BY THE ENGLISH SENTENCE OF THE SPVerb. STRUCTURAL TYPE

Abstract: 
The article explores the conceptual content of the SPVerb. sentence type in the English language – the sentence pattern with the subject and the verbal predicate as its only obligatory components. The author defines the typical proposition expressed by this sentence type and the corresponding typical situation, reveals the peculiarities of situations represented by this typical proposition, the mechanisms of their conceptualization and means of linguistic expression.
