Abstract: 
In the article categories of the person and numbers of the Russian verb in the aspect of Professor N.A. Kobrina’s ideas about interaction of lexicon and grammar, morphology and syntax are considered. The classification of lexical and grammatical categories of the Russian verb taking into account morphology and syntax interaction is presented.
