Abstract:
The paper raises the issue of creating a dictionary of a new type, considering the requirements of the 21st Century user. The analysis of academic research on lexicography developed by both Russia’s and International scholars, has made it possible to create two models of the political dictionary: a printed edition and an electronic one. The difficulties in understanding within intercultural political discourse can be explained, in most cases, by differing co, the lack of illustrative sentences, which present a lexical unit in its natural authentic environment. The validity of the dictionary is a cognitive approach to definitions and interlanguocultural commentary based on an impressive data base, including text fragment from non-fiction, academic papers, media texts, etc.
