Abstract
Poetical discourse presumes sense indeterminacy and sense dynamics, thus poetical text in its turn is rather a sign-index than a sign-symbol, able to activate various interpretational trajectories depending on concrete discursive conditions. The translator’s task is to create favorable conditions for activating (on the base of the target-text) similar, potentially differential discursive processes (depending on the set of discursive factors relevant for a certain recipient). It may be done by means of relaying organizational logics of source discourse – fixed in the source-text discursive and textual strategies, with respect to discursive value of functionally relevant textual elements.

Keywords:  poetical discourse; poetical text; relaying; discursive value; value-for-value translation
