COGNITIVE BASIS OF THE TEXT COMPOSITION OF THE ENGLISH NEWSPAPER DISCOURSE

Abstract: 
The article looks on the composition of English newspaper texts as a cognitive-discoursive formation, based on sensorimotor principles of world conceptualization with the help of image schemas. The research has proved that the composition of a newspaper text has formal and semantic components, structured by image schemas with a different degree of precision.
