Abstract:
It is considered in the article that there are some “nuclear” ideas that emerged in the early stages of human consciousness. They became the bases of formation of metaphor and metonymy as cognitive mechanisms. These ideas define the vector of evolution for the later development of some mental and linguistic structures. They are, in a hidden form, to a marked degree, determine the specifics of processing and representation of the emotional and aesthetic experience. In particular, the bases for the emergence of metaphoric and metonymic mechanisms of sense formation were the basic concepts INTERFERENCE, AUTHENTICITY, SEMBLANCE.
