CHRONEMES AS LINGUISTIC MARKERS IN VIRGINIA WOOLF`S NOVEL «MRS. DALLOWAY»

Abstract
The article considers the dynamics of the theme of time in Virginia Woolf’s novel «Mrs Dalloway». The author focuses on the patterns of chronemes, their functions and semantic groups. The article analyses certain chronemic features and their interrelation with nonverbal communication. The article is aimed at emphasizing the complex verbal/nonverbal interaction in communication.
