ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT PURPLE IN EMILY DICKINSON’S POEMS

Abstract: 
This article discusses the concept PURPLE and the ways of its lexical representation in Emily Dickinson’s color picture of the world. The key word of representing purple is analysed. The author’s individual meaning of ‘mystery’ is highlighted.
