MENTAL SPACES REPRESENTATION IN FICTION

Abstract: 
The report touches upon the ways of depicting mental spaces in a literary text. In connection with this problem a few other overlapping terms such as possible worlds, text world, text sub-world are analyzed. Besides the idea of introspection is discussed as a possible way of depicting a mental world of a character in a literary text.
