COGNITIVE CORPUS APPROACH TO SYNONYMY IN TERMINOLOGY

Abstract: 
In the article the model of cognitive corpus analysis of terminological units that are in synonymous relations is proposed. Particular attention is paid to the origin of synonyms, their function in the formation of the terminology system and the study of the development trend of the linguistic metalanguage.
