Abstract:
The article concentrates on the mental spaces involved in the process of translation /interpreting. The emphasis is on the dynamic interaction and conceptual mapping between mental and language spaces participating in conceptual blending in the process of translation. We argue that this multifaceted interaction results in multilevel recategorization which is represented in verbal structures of the target language.
