MYTHOLOGICAL REPRESENTATIONS AND FORMS OF THEIR EMBODIMENT IN THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract:  In an era of global changes, paradoxical as it may seem, more and more often there is an appeal to knowledge that goes back to ancient times. This knowledge stores the intellectual and emotional experience of previous generations, which is becoming in demand in the modern world. This experience includes mythological knowledge, realized in various linguistic forms, extending from everyday vocabulary, to the nomination of different scientific and technological realities.
