Abstract: 
The article examines the process of the appearance of neologisms in the language in connection with the need to identify the realities of the changing world, to express one’s attitude towards them. The process of the appearance of neologisms in the language is accelerated during periods of social upheaval, due to the heightened perception of what is happening in the world.
