Metaphorical rethinking of the category “emotion” within the POSITION IN SPACE concept

Abstract:  This article explores the processes of metaphorical conceptualization of emotional states through the prism of position in space on the material of position verbs in the Kazakh language. In the course of the analysis figurative schemes, conceptual metaphors, which underlie in the metaphorization of the studied subject, are identified.
