CONTEMPORARY MYTH AS A CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC PHENOMENON

Abstract: 
The article considers contemporary myth as a complex format of knowledge. The Soviet myth has been studied and the stages of its life-cycle have been highlighted, as applied to the Russian-language poetry. It is concluded that the elements of the myth after its disintegration remain a part of the cultural and linguistic environment.
