Abstract:  The article deals with linguistic personality as a linguacultural phenomenon. Fiction text as a mirror of intercultural communication is in the limelight of the research. Rudyard Kipling serves as example of bicultural linguistic personality for the unity of cultural, linguistic and conceptual traits typical of two ethnic groups reflected in his literary discourse.
