PERCEPTION OF PROPER NAMES: CONTEXTS OF AMBIGUITY

Abstract: 
The paper deals with perception of proper names in dubious contexts, which leads to “propria↔appellativa” ambiguity. Pragmatic and cognitive mechanisms of different interpretations as well as examples of phantom proper names are considered.
