INTERPRETATION OF Topical POLITICAL EVENTS AS A RESULT OF COMMUNICATIVE AND COGNITIVE ACTS OF FACEBOOK USERS

Abstract:  The article analyzes the communicative and cognitive acts produced by Internet users of the social network «Facebook» which reflect the authors’ interpretation of current political events. The cognitive operations realized in these acts contribute to the construction of new meanings in Internet texts, help to express the author's pragmatic attitudes and to influence other members of the Internet community.
