SOUND ICONISM VIEW OF THE WORLD IN GERMAN AND RUSSIAN

Abstract: 
The report defines the concept of Sound Iconism (phonosemantic) world view. Phonosemantic world view in German and Russian at the level of onomatopoeia is presented, and some specific features of the phonosemantic world view explication in the studied languages at the level of phonosemantic fields and groups are revealed.
