CONCEPTUALIZATION OF THE GLOBALIZATION PHENOMENON IN MODERN GERMAN MEDIA DISCOURSE (Based on Corpus Data)

Abstract: 
The article analyzes the features of the conceptualization of the phenomenon of globalization, taking the modern German-language lexeme-nominee «Globalisierung» used in media discourse as an example. The corpus analysis shows that the conceptual network of the key lexeme is modeled on the basis of data from the Deutsches Referenzkorpus. The main ways of conceptualization, thematic headings, the dynamics of entries into the corpus are established, a co-competitive analysis of frequency collocates is carried out, the problems of using corpus data in cognitive research are determined.
