Abstract:
The article views theoretical and methodological aspects of professional linguistic identity studied in unity with its cognitive and linguistic properties. There is revealed the level-structure of professional linguistic identity, peculiarities of studying different types of professional linguistic identity, there is established the link between the type of personal identity and performed professional activity. Special attention is paid to professional linguistic identity of a scientist as personal identity of the reflexive type: given is the model structure of this identity; by the example of “L.A. Shkatova’s Dictionary of professional linguistic identity” the peculiarities of cognitive and linguistic structures interaction in scientific discourse of a linguist-scientist are shown.
