VECTOR SEMANTICS OF THE CONCEPT/ANTICONCEPT “REVOLUTION” (BASED ON THE NOVEL “A TALE OF TWO CITIES” BY CH. DICKENS)

Abstract: 
The article tackles the problems of definition and treatment of the concept/ anticoncept “revolution” from the point of view of vector semantics. It dwells upon structural, semantic and vector varieties of antonyms and their significance in antonymic modeling of the concept/ anticoncept “revolution” based on antithesis. Linguocognitive models and associative scheme of the concept sum up its basic contradictions.
