Abstract
The paper underlines the role of activity-constructive approach in the sphere of word-formation. Child’s word-formation activity is based upon cognitive development, including mental processes of analysis and generalization accompanied by practical experience. Thus the paper makes an attempt to reveal the origins of word-formation mechanisms in the production of child’s speech activity.
