Author:  D. A. Kholina

Abstract
We consider the Quest Myth in the early poems of W. B. Yeats as a multi-level sign system of an archetypical nature represented by a frame and analyse its structure that consists of such elements as «movement», «the road», «the direction», «the means of transport» etc. We also give examples of the language means that fit into its slots.

Keywords:  archetypical, frame, slots
