EXPLICIT AND IMPLICIT REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT WHITE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The author analyses explicit and implicit representation of the concept white. The concept determines the semantics of linguistic means used to express it. The analysis considers semiotic and symbolic meanings of the unit white and its psychical effect on a human being.
