Abstract:
The article considers the influential role of the sensorimotor cognition during the communicative activities. As illustration there are presented the examples of secondary nomination of verbs with the meaning ‘to speak’ and ‘to think’. In the article there are explored the mechanisms of the semantic transformation of verbs with the meaning of concrete action into the verbs of speech activity.
