Abstract:
The article deals with mishearing and misunderstanding that lead to the wrong interpretation of sayings. This phenomenon is based on the process of apperception. Apperception proves to be a psychological act governed by a person's previous experience as well as the level of intellectual development, inner prejudices, habits, living conditions and other circumstances.
