PROPER NAMES IN THE FUNCTION OF COMMON NAMES AS MEANS OF EVALUATIVE CATEGORIZATION

Abstract: 
The article focuses on the analysis of the evaluative words category, represented by proper names in the function of the common ones. Metaphorical transfer is a complicated process of forming an evaluative sense. An appeal to the knowledge structure evoked by a proper name as well as linguistic context is of high importance for the interpretation of the meaning of deonims.
