ON THE PROBLEM OF CORRELATION BETWEEN METHODOLOGY AND OBJECT OF RESEARCH

Abstract: 
The paper focuses on the problem of cognitive linguistic research methodology, arguing that its reorientation towards integration and interdisciplinarity, i.e. application of the methods of other Cognitive Science disciplines, is inevitable as it is dictated by the very nature of the object of Cognitive Linguistics and secures further evolution of the science.
