Abstract: The problem of linguistic personality in relation to knowledge verbalization is given particular attention as part of the current anthropocentric research. This accounts for the significance of studying such a traditional linguistic phenomenon as literary text, with its complicated structure and semantics, with regard to linguistic hypertext. Introduction and extensive use of hypertext has had a great impact on author and reader’s interaction. The following article discusses the address of hypertext, which indicates hypothetic reader’s skills and is measured by the number and character of the original text elements included into the commentary.
