WORLD CATEGORIZATION THROUGH IDEOGRAPHIC DICTIONARY: THE ROLE OF THE HUMAN FACTOR

Abstract:  The subject in this report is the ideographic dictionary as one of the main means of natural reflection of the world categorization by lexical means. The main attention is given to the role of the human factor in the process of lexical categorization of the world reflected in different lexicographic parameters and categories such as conceptualization and anthropocentricity. These parameters and categories can be found in the macrostructure of the dictionary which is formed by a complex of lexical sets of different range. Their lexicographic interpretation considers main principles of ideographic dictionary formation: systemacity, hierarchy, intersecting, and grammatical relation in lexical representation in dictionary composition.
